FAQ
What does PacBao do?
It turns your website into an app-style entry with its own name and icon. After install, users open your site like an app — without building a native product from scratch.
What does the result feel like?
Users tap an icon and land on your website. The experience is web-based, with your branding, so it works well as a product or campaign entry.
Do I need native coding skills?
No. Prepare a URL, app name, and optional icon, then follow the UI to export.
Which platforms are supported?
Android, iOS, Windows, macOS, and more. See the product UI for what is available today, and Platforms for an overview.
Can I publish to app stores?
You can, but store accounts, review, and compliance are your responsibility. PacBao focuses on fast packaging, trials, and internal distribution.
Can I package a local folder as an offline app?
Today the product is built around online URLs, not a full offline static-site packager.
Phone app or desktop app?
- Want a quick Android trial → use the phone app
- Managing multiple projects or exporting several platforms → use desktop
Both share the same product idea; pick what fits your workflow.
What if packing or install fails?
Check that the URL is reachable, name/icon are set, and the device allows installs from unknown sources. If it still fails, try another device or contact support.
